Graduation

Today I am going to Chicago's Union Station to receive my daughters.  I am bringing them up to MIchigan to come to my graduation from college.  I am receiving an associates degree.  i am so excited!
This associates degree was over a period of 19 years of off and on college work.  I finished it up last summer with just one class!  Yeah for me.  That's all I needed!  What a relief!  So I am going to walk for it now even though my diploma was mailed to me. :)  I am thankful I finally have something for all that work.
Shiloh's life is a bit disrupted from her routine right now. As it is when people come and go at our house.  She doesn't like that very well but tolerates it well.   She has a great personality for flexibility.  I am looking forward to seeing how the weekend goes with her and the girls being together and the fast pace of the schedule we will be keeping as well.

Spring Break Guests!

Today my daughters arrived for a visit on their spring break.  Shiloh thought her space was being invaded!  She looked in the guest bedroom as if aliens had taken over the beds.  I am very happy to have them here.  Shiloh will get used to having them after awhile though.  It is always fun to have my children around.  I am looking forward to celebrating my birthday with them.

Midterm Week Post

This week has been a crazy week.  I have been busy studying and paying attention more to my books and appointments than to Shiloh.  Shiloh is obviously feeling neglected as she constantly is crawling up in my lap between me and the computer.   I will have to obviously get in some time with her after midterms are over.  Yeah for tomorrow!  It will be done!

Introducing Shiloh

Shiloh is my 3 year old cat.   She is a domestic medium haired gray and white cat.  I got her at 1 year and 8 months of age.  She came to me from my friend's son.  She one day while my 2 daughters now age 13 years and 12 years old were visiting came down the hall late one evening   and said to me "night night Mamaw."  I was in my walk in closet and came out and said to my girls did my cat say "night night Mamaw?"  My girls were on my bed at the time and said "yes!"  We all split our sides in laughter!  Since that night she has been the center of attention at our house.   This is going to be a journal about me and how she has enriched my life.
